What is LinkMarket?
LinkMarket is an easy-to-use Banner Exchange service that helps bring visitors to your web
site. You can display your ad banner on thousands of web sites around the world for
FREE in exchange for advertising on your site. A proven way to advertise
your website!
How does it work?
Members participate by showing ad banners from the LinkMarket Network on their own site.
In return, you earn credits for your banner to be shown on other participating sites. For
every two network banners shown on your site, you earn one credit to show your banner.
You'll need to identify the location of your banner image. Normally, your ad banner image will be placed on your own web server. You use up to 3 banners in your account, so you can switch back and forth to evaluate
which is most effective!
You'll receive a snippet of HTML code to
use on your pages (the code will show the other member's banners). Simply paste the code in your target web pages, upload your pages and you're ready to go! We'll provide instructions if you need help
placing your code.
What types of ads are shown on my
page?
All ad banners in the network are reviewed by our staff to be appropriate for general
audiences. We do not accept any advertisements for adult material, or other potentially objectionable content.
Are there any restrictions on
what I can advertise?
Sites with content suitable for general audiences may participate in
LinkMarket. The
guidelines above also apply to sites that you may want to advertise.
Participation in
LinkMarket is contingent on both site and banner approval.
Why is it free?
The LinkMarket reserves some of the ad space on our network sites for reputable
third-party sponsors. This helps us cover the costs of servers and administration for this
service.
